Fiona lives and practices on the ancestral, treaty and title lands of two Anishinaabe Ojibwe Nations. Fiona recognizes that the land is the traditional territory of these Indigenous people.
ABOUT
Hi, I'm Fiona
Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying)
At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to respect-focused therapy—an approach that places dignity, mutual trust, and shared understanding at the centre of the therapeutic relationship. I believe that when clients feel genuinely respected and heard, they can safely explore their inner world and move toward meaningful change.
Above all I value collaboration. I work with clients to understand their needs, hopes, and lived experiences at a deeper level. My ideal client is someone seeking greater clarity, meaning, and self-understanding—someone ready to look inward with curiosity and courage.
If you are wanting to explore your internal landscape with a therapist who respects your voice, honours your stories, and walks beside you at your pace, I would be honoured to support you.

Approach
What to expect in sessions and treatment?
I take a client-centred, relational approach where your concerns remain the focus and our therapeutic connection supports the work we do together. I use a multimodal approach to address the many factors influencing your struggles, drawing from narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR. I pursue ongoing education to deepen my understanding of current research and therapeutic frameworks. My work is grounded in a non-pathologizing, anti-oppressive approach. If you’d like to know more about any of these modalities, please feel free to ask. Our work is always collaborative.
